E turns 7

Our littlest angel turned 7 yesterday.
I am a bit on shock.

 Where did that just go?

 E wanted a Pixie party.
We made a cake according to her specific desires!!
We made purses for all the goodies.

 We made tutus.

And K made special wands, each with a magical power.

We decorated and the sun was out.
It was a perfect Pixie party indeed.

 Our precious Birthday Pixie!!

 Giggles and Gifts!!

But someone really wanted in on the action!!

 Games and fun.

 AND THEN THE CAKE!

Big Girl in the Kitchen

K is in the kitchen all the time.
She finds recipes online or in a magazine, even flips through my tattered cookbooks.
She has a real knack for flavours and is really great at taking on even the harder cooking concepts, such as double boiling, separating eggs, folding in egg whites and  making a rue.

I am a bit in shock to have someone else in my kitchen space, moving things and running things low.
I have to be extra careful when making the grocery lists now.
I have to admit Dad is the happiest because K cooks a loot of treats!!

But she also makes lots of beauty products too.
Lip balms, solid perfumes and face masks to name a few.

My little Diva!!

Capoeira

The girls have started Capoeria.
It is one of the fist times that they can attend a class together.
I love watching them partake and work together.

They are finding it difficult but exhilaratingly fun.
They are challenged and happy about that.

I get the music and songs stuckin my head.
Listening to them sing and chant is beautiful.
They are going 2-3 times per week.
They'll be in the best shape ever.kidd

Oldie!!

An old friend posted this pic on Facebook last week.
I was transported back in time.
I have very few photos of me, and even rarer of me in high school.
I am about 15 here, helping with a kids carnival we hosted at our school.
I am thrilled to have this.
My girls love it too.
