Funny Shirt

I have always love a good t-shirt.
Hubby is a great sport and wears most of the ones I find.
There are way more funny, raunchy and down right rude shirts now days.
This one was just too darn funny to pass up.
Downside....kids are getting wise o them.

VHS

While doing some crawl space cleaning, hubby came across the old VCR.
We had a few VHS tapes and thought the girls would like to check them out.
They were flabbergasted.
They couldn't figure it out for a bit.
They laughed and giggled at the confounded contraption.
We giggled with old age.
We are being dated daily.

Elf on the Shelf

Adventures of Chuckles Our Elf

Chuckles returned in full force this holiday season.
It was so exciting to see the young ones sheer joy as she woke each morning and tromped through the house excitedly searching for the mischievous little red elf.

Non of the ideas are super original but thankfully the internet is loaded with other peoples elf adventures.
It saved me on a few late nights when it got too late or the one night I actually forgot.

I dont recommend 24 days but I know that this was probably the last year of Magic in our house, so i really wanted to make it special.

I even used elf to my advantage on a particularly difficult parenting day.

This was my fave for sure.
A few friends of our came to stay for the weekend and elf couldn't help himself.
LOL, it was funny to see poor E's face in the morning!!

Hee Hee....Im a Little Prankster

Poor hubby was crashed from a killer long shift at work.

I dread these sorts of shifts, although he would never complain, I know what he has to deal with.
In this case it was over 40 degrees, food was terrible, he worked from 4 in the morning till 10 or later at night only to be put in a crummy room under the loud kitchen in this delapitated old float camp.
Spotty internet or no phone, so were at the mercy of the sat phone and those stink at the best of times.

I do not know how anyone can work 3 weeks straight exhausted, hot, tired and all the rest only to have to sleep in a short, crappy bed which 100 other camp bodies have slept on before, and still be productive and be the boss dealing with al the other people going through the same sorta crap.

To be away from home, family and creature comforts all for the sake of providing for us.
I am in awe of what he does, how hard he works and how much he sacrifices for us.

SO how do I repay him....?
Well i wont go into all the details but one of the things I love to do is make him smile and laugh.

This time, while he was crashed, i carefully painted his toes a lovely bright red.
Then to make it even better I hid the nail polish remover.
Yup!! Thats true love right there folks!!
