After School Craft Session

A local after school day care set up a session and came by for some winter/Christmas crafting.
We managed to work solid for an hour and each kid accomplished 9 crafts.
They were great gifts for them to give to family and friends, and to decorate their homes.
I loved working with these kids.

Paint Lab

I always seem to forget  my camera, so am at the mercy of my iPhone.
These are taken from a class for beginning painting where we were getting to know our paint and supplies while learning about primary, secondary and tertiary colours as well as blending techniques.
Kids really like to get into the paint!!

Brian Scott

Being from the Comox Valley means we have the ability to see so much amazing local talent.

There are so many artists and I try to teach the girls about our artists as much as the famous ones.

Brian Scott is one such artist who's style is so bright and fun, almost whimsical.
