Stop Motion Claymation

Homeschooling offers us so much flexibliity.
I especially love that we can challenge any topic we want and do it at our pace.
K and E both have been loving to make movies lately.
I have hours of movies downloaded that they have created with elaborate scripts, and enlisting every friend that comes over to be part of.

I remember being thrilled to be able to record my voice on my ghetto blaster onto a tape.

We found a few great iPad stop motion apps as well.
This had proven to be really fun.

I am proud of these girls and all that they achieve.

K the Story Teller

 I think it is important for my girls to learn  their way around and computer and the internet.
In this exercise I had K write a story.
She then needed to type it out and find pictures to go with her story.

 She was excited as it was sort of a neat adventure that she had full control of.
I love the finished product.
I laminated the pages and she tied it with ribbon.
Her first published book!
She is quite proud of herself and has now started a book of poems that she wants to publish and share with her friends.

Have you tried Evernote Yet?

Now that I am working with an iPad, iPhone and a Mac, I needed a way to sync all my info and keep all devices updated.
iCloud works wonders but Evernote helps in a whole new way.

Being able to use my phone to update files and notes when running around throughout my days.
I feel like Im a superstar now!!!

Apple Love

I finally got it!

After years of PC hell I bit the bullet and bought a

Mac.

It has been quite the learning curve I tell you, but all worth it.

I started with ipod touches, and each of us girls in the house have one.

They are mini miracles in my household.

Tales to Go, music, learning apps, Netflix...theres no end to the usefulness of these little wonders.

Then I got an iphone.

Can I just say I have no idea how I lived without it.

I have had many adjustments, growing pains as they call them.

I think I've hashed most of them out.

My favourite addition to my Mac is the Aperture program I purchased.

It is amazing photo editing software that has allowed me to really expand my photography, and I need all the help I can get!!
