The lawn mower thought we needed to replace the glass in our french doors off our bedroom.
Not sure quite how it got a rock through the porch but it did a pretty great job of destroying the window.
Thank goodness for tempered glass.

Birthday Day in Disneyland
Miss K turned officially turned 10 while in Anaheim.
The bus driver got wind on that and had the entire hotel bus sing to her.
She was both happy and embarrassed.
We found a pretty little eatery and had brunch and cake there.
She was so happy and loving it up.
So this is what a 10 year old looks like.
She's adjusting quite fine to the double digits.
Its me thats finding it hard!!

Disneyland
I had never been to Disneyland and it was of course somewhere i have wanted to go since i was a kid.
Well we did disneyland, hard.
Besides the roller coaster type rides we managed to get on every ride.
It has a rich history and Walt was a pretty interesting character.
Kids had a fabulous time and other than dad getting a stomach flu on day 2 we throughly enjoyed ourselves.

I fell in love, totally got soaked up in the whole "Happiest Place on Earth" deal.

Road Trip
We packed up the van and headed south.
We put on just shy of 5500 kms in 12 days and made it down to San Diego and everywhere in between.
Beaches, hotels and lots of pools...... and reststops!
SOme days we drove for 12-15 hours and the kids were absolutely perfect.
I kept expecting meltdowns or any such thing but not even one.
It was a grand Road Trip, A perfect family Holiday.
Memories were made.
And duty free was great too
