What It Looks Like Around Our Yard These Days

Molly Moment

ALthough Miss Molly is getting old and showing her age, she is still so perfectly wonderful.
She has cancer and we had a huge tumour removed last summer.
They said she will decline slowly but surely.
I am loving and enjoying al the moments we can with her.
And the kids will be heartbroken, so I try to take as many pictures as I can.

Cooper Cuddles

This pup can cuddle like no other.
He is so lovely and cozy.
The girls are so lucky, I would have died to have my own mini pup as a kid.

Birthday Cooper and Mollie

How do you celebrate a dogs birthday?
With hats, music and cake of course!!

Even if  the cake is just store bought wet food slop with a beggin strip poked in!!

Dogs were happy and so were the girls!
How did we end up with 2 dogs with the same birthday anyways!?

Snow Dogs

Its kinda cute, and kinda pathetic att he same time.
Poor little guy is not made for the cold.

Leonard on the other hand is ecstatic about the falling fun. 

Jumps non stop trying to catch them.

Think he'd get tired....not so.

I'm still trying to find a mini keg for Lucy.
It would be perfect for those chilly adventures up the mountain!

Leonard may like the snow but his fur is a magnet.

Little dude was covered in heavy snow balls that clung on so hard.

I felt pretty bad watching him run, but I couldn't stop laughing.

2 or my sweeties, nestled in the snow.

Molly hates the cold.
She's sort of like a huge chihuahua really.
But she's never shy to cuddle.
I think she was trying to steal some heat.

Happy days!!

Cooper Cards

K had a photo session with Cooper to make her friends some Christmas cards.

He was a trooper!!

And pretty darn cute I must admit!!

School at the Beach

Its been raining so hard here that its been pretty hard to enjoy outside.
I am so glad that on Tuesday I took the girls for a school at the beach day and got to fill our bodies with hopefully enough vitamin D to get us through this ugly spell.

We met up with some old friends who just moved back to town.
SO nice to catch up and the kids are new friends...again.

Leonard had a great time.
He's such a good boy.

We are so lucky to live here.

Poor Leonard

Just days before hubby went away for the entire summer to work in camp, he accidenatlly ran over poor Leonard's leg.
Long story short....8 weeks, all summer in a cast at 9 months old.
Yup!!
A real bummer for the little man.
Especially when it become infected and raw.
Boy that was a horrible stench and a gruesome wound.

But he pulled through that like the trooper he is.

He faired so much better than I could have possibly imagined.
He was treated like royalty of course.

And thank goodness little Cooper is so small, it was easy for them to play without Leonard even having to get up.

But by the end of 8 weeks he had had enough.

3 casts later and he finally started to chew it off.

Enough was enough.

I took the hint and cut it off for him.

I love my brood of 4 legged goons.
