She's been chain stitching up a storm.

Getting all stretched out in her new Bodpod lycra suit.

Great Grandp's

We headed over to see the great grandpa's, both in their mid 80's.
K made and packaged some delicious lemon squares as a gift for each of them.

I feel so lucky that the girls get to visit and know their great grandfathers.

It is so wonderful to share in their stories and get those hugs in.

Always such a sweet feeling to get flowers.

13th Anniversary

We had our 13th wedding anniversary last month.

It was a busy mid-week evening, hubby just came home from a long day and it was hot hot hot!!
I packed a picnic and we headed to the beach for dinner date with the kids.

The beach lends to great creative moments.

And if you ever come across this stuff, given to me from a dear friend for my birthday, Grab It!!
Yummy!!

Fresh picked berries and whip cream dessert, at the beach, with my sweety and my kiddos.....perfection!!

Birthday Day in Disneyland

Miss K turned officially turned 10 while in Anaheim.
The bus driver got wind on that and had the entire hotel bus sing to her.
She was both happy and embarrassed.

We found a pretty little eatery and had brunch and cake there.
She was so happy and loving it up.

So this is what a 10 year old looks like.
She's adjusting quite fine to the double digits.
Its me thats finding it hard!!

Schooling with the Sun

Having bright and sunshiney days nakes schooling at the kitchen table difficult for us all.
So i have taken it outside for the past week.
From solar prints and a sundial.

To shadow tracing,

Solar oven building,

and sun tea making.

Great schooling I think!!
