The lawn mower thought we needed to replace the glass in our french doors off our bedroom.
Not sure quite how it got a rock through the porch but it did a pretty great job of destroying the window.
Thank goodness for tempered glass.

Sweet Peas
Soaking these seeds for planting tomorrow.
My favorite garden addition.
I have them at every table and night stand in the summer.
I cant get enough of their sweet smells.

In The Greenhouse
I saved some seeds last year and am now just sorting through them.
Got plenty of kale, thats for sure!!
I set out all my trays and got the greenhouse all tidies up.
I could spend hours in there but its still just not quite time yet.
I set up the rain barrel, but misplaced the screen.
Lets see how much this help the water bill this year.
And all my precious seeds.
I love sorting and planning and reading and planning and reading and planning!!
Next step was to fill all those trays.
Now i need to plant and label!!
So excited!

Old Snow
GO AWAY ALREADY!!
I just loathe old, dirty snow.
The dogs have made tracks through out the yard, the sides of the road have piles of gritty snow gobs.
As of yesterday I finally can see green.

BBQ Gazebo
Hubby loves to build.
Hubby loves to build big things!!
This is so exciting!!
A place where we can have fires and hang out in any weather, protected from the elements.
One thing about have a fire is you are limited to only a certain time of year, Fall.
Since summer is generally fire season and we live in the forest, we are very careful.
It's usually pretty chilly when we have fires.
This will have a tin roof to reflect the heat down, with a hole in the roof to allow the smoke to escape.
Engineering this was a feat in itself.
No plans just a master mind and lots of patience.
I love have a huge year!!

Winter Garden
It looks so pretty.
I love seeing the small little reminders of last year still clinging on.
I wonder....Do they make Ice Cider?

End of the Gardening Season
Last flower standing this year.
Second blooming of my calendula.
Truck load of seaweed to top the beds, put then to rest for the winter.
Oddly, still a few peppers holding on in the greenhouse.
Seed saving, Kale.
A few cold frames set out for my winter Kale.
Trying a new idea.
Left seeds in pumpkin and put dirt inside.
Hoping it'll seed itself and grown new pumpkins.
Its a work in progress.
Let you next year know if it works.
Beddy Bye Beds.
Hubby put on a new roof, just in time before the rains hit.
It looks wonderful compared to the ratty old plastic.
Chicken coop is empty and still.
Now all the grain had taken to sprouting.
We have one wild chicken that roams around and she's been grazing in here at her leisure.
She's pretty happy.
Mint drying for tea.
A sunny moment.
