Sewing Class

I really love teaching the sewing classes.
I find that the kids get so much practical knowledge and that its so important to know, I cant help but be overly enthusiastic teaching it.

They learn hand sewing first, about all the supplies and fabrics.

Then we work into machine basics.

Kids love to get working on the machines.

Craft Fair

I had so much fun doing a couple craft fairs this season.
I got to meet so many people and show and sell samplings of things we do at the Art Lab.
It was so successful, I think it will become an annual event for us.

Sewing Aprons

I have been doing lots of personal touches to the business space.
I wanted to sew all the aprons myself.
I have used old jeans and they worked out great.
I even had little labels made to sew on.

I think its the little things that show the love!!

How awesome is my hubby!?
He surprised me and took me to a Quilters convention!!

And I didn't break the bank there either.
A real bonus.

I did come away with about 100 quilt ideas though.

Quilts for my Girlios

Both girls asked for a quilt.
They picked the colours and I got right to work.
Hopefully they will have them for years to come and pass them down to their kids!!

Produce Bags

I made these great produce bags for a dear friend for christmas.
I have made many of these in the past and seem to keep giving them away.
They work perfectly for all produce and most bulk foods as well.
They wash up easy and are able to fit into your re-usable bags bag, making it easy to remember at the grocery store.
