It was one of those days...dog dies, lost mt wallet and then the van.
I have been using our old truck and although it works great and is a solid beast, and it has been faithful, it is a gas guzzling jalopy.
I have to admit I miss the van.
I miss the comfort and room, the ease of use and the visibility.
I now admit I have become a van lover, Never did I see that happening but now that I am without I am sold on all the merits and see why a huge portion of the population drives them.
We have had a friend and a mechanic diagnose the van and it seems like it may be more than we should deal with.
Here now sits...in true hillbilly style, the van up on blocks and looking every bit as useless as it is.
What do we do?
Toss it?
WOW!!
that is the option.
We cannot even get cash for it they are so common.
We are better off to craigslist it and see what happens.
Just sell it for parts.
Sad that 1500 odd lbs of metal and plastic is just waste.
At this stage we know the van is just be a money pit and where do you draw the line?
This puts us in the position of trying to figure out if we want another vehicle.
Do we buy new?
Used?
What make and model?
It is a dizzying thought.
