Meet Chaz

Went to a Frat and Brat party.
I miss interpreted it at a Fraternity with "sausages" ;-)

Brats meant kids, but there was a BBQ full of sausages.

So i rocked out a costume full of attitude and brought on cheese-ball Chaz.
Total creep!!

It was so fun to stay in character.
I had a few people guessing who i was.
I thought that was the best part.

The kids keep asking for more Chaz!!

Schooling with the Sun

Having bright and sunshiney days nakes schooling at the kitchen table difficult for us all.
So i have taken it outside for the past week.
From solar prints and a sundial.

To shadow tracing,

Solar oven building,

and sun tea making.

Great schooling I think!!

Little niece turned two!!

Grabbed a fondant lady bug.

Tasted it.

Second thought...not so yummy.

Put it back.

No-one  will ever notice.

Quick Crafts

I am always trying to fill time up with quick crafts, to keep kids active and creative.
I find no shortage of inspiration from Pinterest, so its never hard to get something in daily.

Composter

It took 2 of us 2 hours, but we got it done, with no help from the crazy mosquitos!!
Now i have a tumbler composter that is much easier o use.
