Up-Cycling a Sweater

K really has an aversion to pullover sweaters.

They get caught on her earrings and squeeze her head she says.

When I found these lovely woollen sweaters the other day I knew I need to re-fashion them into something she would wear.

I think I selfishly wanted them for myself.

A quick cut up the front, hemmed with a ribbon to close the top and not even 10 minutes later both were good to go.

For K's I attached some flowers that I had removed previously from a shirt.

They matched just perfectly and upped the coolness/grown up factor she so desperately wants lately.

A perfect throw on for chilly summer nights.
