Blueberry Farm Today

Blueberry Heavan

The Valley boasts so many wonderful farms that it takes a while to get to them all.
We have put a good dent into the list and today added a new organic blueberry farm to the mix.
It was a nice surprise.
The berries are beautiful and the owner was terrific.
My freezer is 20lbs closer to full.
Tommorrow we are off to a local pig farm.

We volunteered at the Our Big Earths' Neighbourwoodie Eats picnic today.
Seed savers was on hand to give advice and lessons on winter gardening.
It was quite informative and opens up whole new possibilities for gardening year round.

The girls had a play date and they all enjoyed running around the farm, playing imaginary games.
I took out snacks and some face paints and we all had fun.
Halloween in July.
After they went in the pool it was quite the face art.
