Teaching the kids more nature art.
They gathered greenery that they thought would make need paint patterns.
I wrapped them onto twigs with embroidery thread.
They held up really well.
While we officially are done the "school year" I feel that life is schooling.
Everyday life is learning and with that concept I add art, music and language.
Do you have any ideas that I can use for summer time activities?
Chore Blocks!A clip art chore pasted on each side and when the kids roll them they have there chores for the day.
There is a "freebie" and a "you choose" square but the rest are everyday things they are asked to do.
Activity Sticks! So when the munchkins start to go squirrley with boredom and start to get on each others nerves, I made these for them to grab.
Each one has an activity for movement, thought and improvs to whisk away the dull-drums.
For some reason these work better than me just saying something.
