And Here It Is!!! Sunshine!!!

We had a weekend in the sun, camping for 3 days.

It was a perfect way to relax and enjoy just hanging out, something that is quite rare in our world.

I even went so far as to sit in a lawn chair and read my book and even take a nap.

The girls rode their bikes all day with all the other kids in the site, only coming back for quick check ins and refreshments.

Yes, we have made it to that time in life I had often craved and wished for over the years.

The time where the kids are independent enough to venture off and have fun all day and I feel safe enough to do so.

It is a wonderful feeling.

We came back to a yard full of chores.

The yard is sprouting like crazy with this sun.

E was a bit distraught that we were mowing the buttercups, so she made a quick bouquet first to enjoy them.
