We got to celebrate Father's Day a little early as J will be away for it.
First stop....
Mt.Washington.
It was so incredible to see so many skiers, snowboarders and mountain bikers taking advantage of this gorgeous weather and mid June snow.
I have never seen a motorcycle parked by a snowboard, or people in shorts and t-shirts carrying their ski boots to the chair lifts.
Pretty neat.
We took advantage by grabbing our snowshoes and hitting the Paradise Meadows trail.
The moss, scratchy bark and wind swept trees.
It is so peacful and worn in a romantic way.
This tree has a nest built in a little cubby hole.
It was a great little education for the girls.
Melting snowlooks so nice as it flows down the mountain side.
Our adventure then took us to the Trent River Falls.
Just minutes down the highway and you are at a terrific spot where you can hike for about 5 minutes and repel down a steep bank to get to a river side oasis.

And darn it all, I forgot my swim suit again.
After a couple of hours, a steep climb home.
Another gift giving as well.
Here is one of the many gifts daddy received.
One day while visiting J in camp I brought some fake moustaches as a gag for the girls and we went camera happy.
Absolutely hilarious.
This is a short sampling of the results and now hangs in our living room.
Next we had to water the garden and start the BBQ for a t-bone dinner.
All in all a fabulous day.
Not to sure if we can keep pace to top off today but we will try to find some sort of adventure.
what an awesome adventure filled day (and I feel exhausted just reading it)
