What is This??? Sunshine?? Oh Happy Day!

In celebration of this fine sunshiny day I felt the need to make a summer picnic bag.
One that holds our eat ware and will stay in the van for whatever occasion that may arise this summer where we are in need of utensils and plates etc.
I know it may sound a bit odd, but I am so tired of going places and feeling guilty using paper plates so this will stop the need too.


K's hair has been quite the attraction around these parts lately and rightfully so.
For the most part the reactions have been favourable and from those who feel it is outright horrid that I "allowed" her to do that, K politely answers " I like it and it is my hair".
Love it.

E on the other hand says she will never get a Mohawk but does want to do something wild, but how do you compete with it.
You do this.....

Yup that is on par I figure.

K is definitely rocking the do I must say.
I wonder if she is my teenage years reincarnated into a 6 year old.
I think I even remember having an outfit close to this and wondering downtown Vancouver.
Oh Please let this not be a sign of the future.
If so I hope she will get it out early.



Today however top it all.
She decided to have 2 "mini hawks" as she referred to them and found it perfectly reasonable to wear a puffy white weddingesque dress and gumboots.
Thankfully we don't do public school because there would be some morning battles...ha ha!!


However I couldn't get it image out of my head,
She reminded me of someone and I couldn't put my finger on it.

Then it came to me...............
