Our Big Girl Turns 7!!

We started out the day with a mini mishap, but K has a knack of making the best of any situation....and dug in.

The fixed up version still worked well but I put it into a little bowl for easier carrying.

We had her party at the little theatre down the road.

I just love it there and am so sad it has to close.

Alice in Wonderland was the theme.

I had fun with the decorations.

After the movie, popcorn, cupcakes and presents, there was a huge popcorn fight.

How absolutely fun.

Then off to home for round two of the party day.

Presents, dinner and a sleepover.

K so desperately has wanted a leather bomber and was tickled when she got this one.

Her 2 special sleepover friends came over and I had decorated the room and surprised K with all the treats any slumber party should have.
Snacks, movie and goody bags.

Hair and make up games and a pillow fight.

Nail painting.
No shortage of giggling and a late night was had by all.

Then breakfast in bed the next morning.

What a fabulous way to spend a 7th birthday.

She had so much fun and I loved watching her happy smiling face enjoy every moment.
