Crafty Love

It's no secret I love my garden.
Over the years it has become a place for me to relax and enjoy my moments.
I have learned many things in my gardens and love that it is a place that I will learn in forever.

It is also no secret that I love to craft, make, sew, create, just about anything I can get my hands on.
So when I see an idea that I fall in love with and know that I can do Hillbilly style, I go for it almost immediately.

These spoons that I found in the blog universe somewhere (and I so apologize that I do not know where) were a definite must have for me.

They are antiqued and letter punched pieces of perfection.
I had to have some so I came up with a quick solution by running to the thrift store down the road and buying 20 odd sized spoons and stuck them in hubbies vice in the shop.
It was really easy and quick.
I do not have letter punches (and there are something that are costly for just one project....)
I had to grab the next best thing.
A Sharpee!!
Tacky?? Yes!!
Did it work?
It got the idea done.
Ok so not the best immitation but effective enough for me to get the craft bug out for today.

A layer of Modge Podge and Bob's my uncle.
I really wish I had better penmanship but this will have to do.
That is until I find where I can order some really ones online.
Either way my garden looks cuter with these adorning each isle.
