End of the Road for Halloween

It was so neat driving through Cathedral Grove and seeing hundreds of jack-o -lanterns placed all along the road side, on meridians and on the bridge columns.
What a great idea at the end of the season to share with everyone else such wonderful works of art.
Unfortunately it does tend to make you less aware of an already crazy road, when you are trying to look at them all.
I wonder if this is an annual occurrence?

This should be a pretty ugly display in a few short days with the cold, rainy and snowy fall weather we have been having.
