You Say Tomatoe... I Say Yup!!!

I wasn't really thinking about how many tomatoes I would be dealing with when I ambitiously started my seeds and buying countless plants from the farmers market.
Once the garden started to take off I was a bit pessimistic about what would happen as last year we got skunked on our tomatoes as well as almost everything else.
This year has been a wonderfully productive year.
Now we are thinking of creative ways to indulge in our bounty.
It is a must for me , a sort of ritual to celebrate the first batch of lovely ripe tomatoes, to eat a sandwich of tomato, mayonnaise and salt on white bread. MMMM!!! Devine.
I know but it has to be pasty white bread for some reason and I don't mind at all.
I had my craving today and I think I'll have another one before I go to bed.
I made a little skirt for a friend to give as a gift.
I love to sew up these darlings early in the morning, so I can say a hello to my sewing machine in the quiet of the day.
