It took me a second to register what was happening as I opened my eyes to a hand in my face and a toothless smile.
I loved the moment, I almost cry.
I was so excited for her, I couldn't stop kissing and hugging her as we headed downstairs to put the tooth in it's special gold box to await the tooth fairy's offering for tonight.
Yeah!!! I get to be the tooth fairy....heheheh!!!
I love it.
What is the going rate for a tooth these days??
Boy I sure wish I had wings and a wand.
I completely remember losing my first tooth.
The constant wiggling, the tongue wagging then the satisfaction and funny emptiness after it finally popped out.
Then waiting anxiously for the rest to come out.
Getting a dollar was huge in my day, so as a tooth was an easy money maker, I was eager to loose my teeth anyway possible.
Slamming the door, pliers, you name it, I tried it. And from what I remember it worked.
Till I ran out of teeth.
I was thinking enough to grab the camera, so this is a shot just after K last her tooth, puffy eyed and delighted at 4 in the morning.
K's adult tooth has been growing behind this empty spot and is more than half way in.
Kind of weird I thought but now it has a place to go. The one next to it is wiggling a lot too.
Maybe I'll get to be a tooth fairy again by weeks end.
Happy belated B.C. Day.
It was a hot and hectic weekend.
And to finish it all off we ventured to the beach house with family and friends and partook in the annual fireworks display.
So fun and a great way to enjoy the end of the weekend.
I didn't even get to practice with my new camera, Grrrrrr!!
