Kings and Queens

As a kid did you ever have the good fortune of finding a huge cardboard box and transform it into something spectacular?
Like a castle, a fort, a store or maybe a jail.
I can't say I actually remember my parents doing any such thing but I always wanted to.
Today I got my chance.
From the trailer reno we had some great boxes come from the doors, the tub and shower surround.
The girls and their cousins had a blast cutting and creating this masterpiece.
A castle any princess, or prince could be proud of.

We busted out the paints and cut paper squares and pasted them on as bricks.
We had a drawbridge and many crawl throughs and secret tunnels.
We had fabric curtains and flags cut out and a flag pole as well.
How absolutely fun.
They ate lunch in there and all I could hear was laughing and fun.
The cats and dogs were treated like royalty and they had huge plans for the place.

Then it rained and wrecked the whole thing.
Amazingly they weren't upset.
They actually enjoyed helping in the destruction by stomping on it.
Well easy come, easy go.
And that is some of the fun we had today.
