I realize as I see a wasp spinning on the floor that I have been stung.
OOOUUUCCCHHH!!!
Holy(beep) I cannot tell you how much it hurts.
But wait it gets better.
I sit down and K gets me some ice, she is so maternal, and I rest with my foot up.
J calls and I walk downstairs to chat in peace and suddenly feet awful.
I mean throw up, coughing, cold, and woozy yucky awful.
Poor J is in camp and so he calls his folks and I get some fresh air.
I feel horrible and now I feel anxious.
Is this a serious reaction? Thankfully no, but it sucks.
The in laws come by with benydril, clotripalon and an epi pen ready to go...dad is allergic and well prepared.
I feel cruddy for about 1 1/2 then slowly I feel better.
And by better I mean the wickedest hangover ever better.
So I am quickly posting and now I am off to bed.
The following is what I was preparing for a post, pre-wasp sting.
I need to get me this badge.
I have been the foreman, for our trailer reno that has to be complete by September 1st.
Lots to do in very short time and I am feeling the crunch.
Poor kids are really resenting the trailer as their summer has been soaked up by it lately.
This may be the sign I will post next week if we are still in this spot.
I have seen those TV shows you see where a whole house gets reno'd in 3 days.
Not reality my friend.
Just the magic of cameras and 50 people working behind the scenes.
We have a brooding hen.
Today we snagged some eggs from our neighbor who has a rooster and we placed 4 eggs under broody.
She accepted them and now we wait.
The girls are so excited to see if they will hatch.
We will keep you posted.
She is definitely coming into her own and trying new things.
Her latest kick is wearing bathing suits under all her clothes, or as a special outfit when we go places but she especially loves to wear them to bed.
Yes, every night she dons one of her many swim suits and sleeps quitecomfortably, or so she says.
But even more exciting to her is her Pegasus costume that she found in the outside wardrobe. Something that Nana picked up at the end of the season last year and I put away.
Spending a day with her as she talks in the third person is funny and cute.
"Pegasus is eating her taost,""Pegasus is getting the eggs," and so on.
"Pegasus is eating her taost,""Pegasus is getting the eggs," and so on.
We go to birthdays and shopping, everywhere in that suit and I love watching how proud she is.
