MMMM so delicious.
Yes, another way to use up our massive supply.
It is dwindling down....very slowly.
I made a matching pair of these little cuties for the girls.
The pleated ribbon I got at a garage sale for 10 cents and the fabric was just laying around (in my mass amounts of fabric) and so these skirts have been coined "the 50 cent skirts."
Now I want one too.
Though it would probably end up being "the 50 dollar skirt!!"
This cat puts up with anything from these ladies.
Here they are putting a splint from leaves and twigs on her paw.
A corner view of the greenhouse, a tomato, zucchini and a cuke growing madly.
I did these indoors for comparison to the ones planted in the garden.
Thanks to the sun, the outdoors ones have put these to shame.
A moment of beauty this morning.
Tasty apples growing healthy and loving this glorious weather.
Just the trusty sprinkler dousing the garden at the end of the day.
To market they go.
Eggs waiting to be delivered tomorrow.
Drying racks of basil. We are also doing oregano, dill, parsley and mint.
It is so hard to watch J sweating away splitting wood in this heat.
AHhhhh!!! The coolness of today was inspiring for me.
I have felt lately as though we have been living in a dehydrated little bubble.
Our existence consisting of the perpetual need to find any water source to submerge in for endless hours and guzzling copious amounts of liquids to quench the thirst and limited hunger brought on by all this crazy heat.
Instead of garden and sewing, crafting and exploring, we have been living day to day outside and in search of shade and wind if were lucky enough.
Truly a summertime experience.
